Now that i have my design ideas in place i need to come up with some questions which will get me results regarding which design and navigating preferences preferred.
Here are some questions i came up from research brainstorming...

Outline
Mobile applications are having a profound effect on all our lives. Where the mobile phone of the last ten years was just a communication device, today's smartphones are also personal managers and information providers. Over the next few years, we can expect these types of phone to become the basic devices of tomorrow. This advanced Master's programme has been designed to allow you to become a highly skilled professional for the mobile industry, by combining technology, interface design and application development for mobile platforms with a strong emphasis on creating applications of high usability and reliability.
Artefact 2: Evaluation
Participants were recorded using the Skyfire browser on a website (costa) which was created using HTML5/CSS3; this was just for test purposes using Flash (video). The website was tested using Wi-Fi to allow participants to experience the same connection speed upon testing.
From analysing the footage of participants using the website came to some surprising conclusions. The problems identified were; Skyfire was slow during navigation tasks, toolbar features never always responded and Flash video was quick, but the quality was very poor. The video analysis could have been improved with getting users to perform tasks, instead of asking them to browse the website freely; this could have resulted in comparing the speed of different participants performing the task.
The survey was to gain qualitative feedback on what current devices and browsers users use to access the internet on their hand-held devices. The survey touched upon; navigation speed, layout, video (flash), browsing speed and asked if users would choose Skyfire over their current browser. The survey came to the conclusion that respondents found that Skyfire was quicker at browsing, but the majority wouldn’t use Skyfire to replace their current browser. The number of participants wasn’t great in the initial feedback plans; this could have been resolved by allowing more time for collecting data. The survey could have been constructed more effectively in re-arranging the order of questions.

Artefact 2: Video
Phone used: HTC Desire
From this video i can see that the navigation is quite hard to understand. The participant found the navigation problems (errors) and resulted in pages not showing and loading.
Phone used: Samsung Galaxy
From this video i noticed that the participant found that viewing video (1:14) didn't play. This brought up a blank video. The video loaded successfully a second time. This does not improve the speed before selecting video. The participant also found the video quality wasn't that great.

The purpose of the website being produced is to test HTML5 and CSS3 which it promises to process just fine. Once i created the website i will add video content e.g. Flash and Youtube to put Skyfires extra features to the test. I am going to get participants who have never used Skyfire to download the app and browse the website created. This will be recorded to analyse potential flaws and comparisons to other hand held devices. This will be followed by a short survey to get users to answer a range of questions based around Skyfire functionality and speed.

Hi Nick,
The photos are definitely moving in the right direction and they will give our customers an excellent preview of the range. I only have a couple of comments that you may want to consider which will hopefully polish the edges a little.
1) All photographs should be taken at the same distance preferably using a tripod to ensure the distance is the same for each shot. The reason for this is that most samples are viewed at reading distance, therefore a photo that is too close up may not look like the fabric they want and they could dismiss it.
2) A fabric can also look different if the warp and weft are not laid the correct way, to find out which way the fabric should be laid, look for the V in the knitting pattern (this should always be pointing downwards) also make sure the front of the fabric is showing rather than the back; if in doubt get a quality or technical person to help you with that. It is important because we are a Technical Textile company and we need to show that we understand the basics of how a fabric should be presented.
3) Make sure that the colour in the photographs is the actual colour of the fabric – it would be better to have black / white and state on the website that other colours are available rather than having a misleading colour on the website.

Outline
This degree provides you with an opportunity to push the boundaries of contemporary digital practice through the exploration of interaction between people, objects and environments using existing technologies, new developments and practices.
This will provide exciting opportunities to combine live and digitally created media. The taught elements of the course encompass new media developments and human interfaces, information spaces and interaction as an art form.
You will be given opportunities to develop content and unique audience experiences using the full capabilities of new technologies in truly interdisciplinary ways.

Outline
This programme takes graduates from many disciplines and provides them with the skills to plan, design, build and promote effective websites. It is aimed both at people who manage corporate websites and at those who wish to start their own web business. The design of excellent websites presents a notable intellectual challenge and, during the programme, students develop a modern, professional and 'real-world' approach. Our objective is to provide a balanced education in the three aspects of web design and content management: technical, functional and aesthetic.
The technical aspects of the teaching provide an understanding of the tools, technologies and principles used for the design and development of contemporary websites. This includes the creation of semantically correct markup, the separation of presentation from content (XHTML and CSS) and the use of web standards (W3C).
The functional aspects focus on the creation of websites with good information architecture that are accessible, useable and findable as a result of effective search engine marketing (SEM/SEO). Students learn how people use the web, how they navigate web content and how they search for information.
The aesthetic aspects of web design are considered in relation to graphic, artistic, typographic and business objectives, including corporate identity and branding.
